Re-humanize yourselves

Christopher Nolan is, of course, a genius. Because as far back as ten years ago he had a very LLM-like robot — practically one-to-one with ChatGPT in audio mode today — but in the dumbest possible mechanical shell, so you wouldn’t forget that you were giving commands to a robot, not a person. In the film, this was probably driven by the need not to dilute the theme of saving humanity with the theme of transhumanism. But in the end, it makes for a very fitting illustration of this article by User8: AIs are a Siren Song

The problem with ChatGPT for many people is that it works like a worse version of self-taught Skype therapist. And what’s worse, the interface of ChatGPT is the same as the interface of the people around you: a humble text chat. People trained themselves to communicate this way and now are easily falling into the robot hallucination trap.

My view: robots should simply serve the genius of human thought. They should look like an obvious dumb machine, while people should meet each other in person more often.
